In the plastic processing industry, whether it is extrusion, injection molding, calendering, hollow molding, blown film, spinning, etc., in addition to the mainframe that meets the requirements, a large number of auxiliary equipment are often required to complete various processing procedures . The improvement, automation, and rationalization of auxiliary equipment for plastics processing determine the quality of products and the viability of enterprises to a certain extent.

According to their functional divisions, plastic auxiliary machines include three types of equipment for feeding systems, temperature control system devices, and crushing equipment for corner waste recycling. They play different roles in plastic processing.

Feeding system provides high-quality raw materials

The auxiliary processing equipment for the feeding system mainly includes drying, conveying, measuring and mixing equipment.

Drying equipment is used for material pre-treatment before forming and processing of hygroscopic materials, such as ABS, polyoxymethylene (POM), polycarbonate (PC), nylon (PA), and organic glass (PMMA). During the process, in order to ensure the quality of the product, it must be highly dried. For example, in the production of randomly copolymerized polypropylene PP-R pipes, injection molding of pipes, and polyethylene materials for cross-linked polyethylene, the materials need to be dried. Required water content. In the production and processing, according to the product's requirements for the moisture content of the raw materials, different drying methods and drying equipment are also used. Oven-type dryers are often used for fillers and PVC pellets. Rotary double-cone vacuum dryers are used for plastics with strong heat sensitivity; direct drying is often used for continuous drying.

For the feeding system, a spring tube conveying system and a Roots blower type air conveying system are used for conveying powder, and a vacuum feeder is used for conveying the particles. Centralized feeding equipment is mostly suitable for large-scale and automated production processes. The equipment adopts computer centralized control, and various raw materials are weighed by the metering device in proportion to the mixer. The hopper is equipped with a material level sensor, which can automatically open or close the storage bucket on the conveying pipe according to the amount of material. The key technology of the centralized feeding system is the accurate measurement of the electronic scale, which can accurately feed the required materials in proportion.

Temperature control to ensure product quality

The heating equipment in the plastic processing mainly refers to the temperature heating controller of barrel molds and calender rolls used in production equipment such as extrusion, injection molding, calendering, etc. At present, the heat conduction oil heating method is generally used to replace the complicated steam heating method.

The mold temperature cooler is mainly used to cool the mold temperature of injection molding. Cooling water channels are generally available in mold design. Refrigerators are divided into air-cooled and water-cooled, air-cooled, lightweight, but low heat exchange capacity, large water-cooled heat exchange capacity, good heat exchange effect, widely used.

Recycling reduces production costs

The percentage of corner waste in plastic processing is about 5% to 20% of the total production. It can be said that recycling corner waste determines the survival lifeline of a company to a certain extent. Plastic processing companies are paying more and more attention to this. At present, more plastic crushers are used, which are divided into equipment for crushing hard products and small-volume products; crushing equipment for recycling and granulating of flexible plastic foam; and direct for longer products of pipes and profiles Crusher for crushing and granulating; pelletizer for waste silk recycling. In plastic recycling equipment, it is now moving towards the development of low-noise, easy-to-operate, continuous tube conveying and discharging of collecting hoppers.

For continuous crushing of large parts, in order to prevent plastic parts from turning and cutting in the grinder for a long time, heat is generated to make the plastic into an elastomer state, and it is difficult to grind. The equipment guarantees continuous operation and efficient crushing of large plastic parts.
